The Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB) e-file, also known as “efile”, “e-Appeal” or “e-appeal online,” is an electronic method of filing your initial MSPB appeal, Pleadings, Addendum’s, as well as checking your existing case status. It is the most convenient and surest way of interacting with MSPB and the Agency, allowing you to file your appeal up to the very last minute of the deadline with guaranteed and verifiable delivery and proper service. In our experience, the MSPB efile system has been expeditious and reliable. Of course, you are not obligated to file using this system and could (at least for now) revert to the old method (for now) instead relying on the U.S. Post Office, still a reliable means of delivery. Using either method, you can continue using the online version of MSPB Form 185 (rev 5/13).
